One of the first challenges was the harsh winters in Cripple Creek, Colorado. Wildwood Casino has an existing roofing system that was failing within the first 5 years of the application which caused leaks throughout the system and into the casino. They needed a system that would stand up to months of snow and ice for years to come. Our award-winning roofers knew choosing the right roofing solution was imperative, so they chose to install a 60 Mil Versico TPO Mechanically Fastened roofing system. This leads to one of the next challenges, getting the materials to the casino.
Nestled 9,494 ft. above sea level, getting materials delivered to this remote part of Colorado was definitely a challenge. We were able to have the materials delivered in a timely manner due to our partnership with Beacon Building Products. Because we were able to keep equipment and materials out of pedestrian areas, the casino was able to be fully operational. At the end of the 2-week roofing project, Wildwood Caisno’s 24,594 sq. ft. roof was completely waterproofed and had a 20-year system warranty.
