Central Arizona College
Project Description
This project involved the successful restoration of a 20-year-old PVC membrane roofing system for the Central Arizona College campus. The goal was to extend the roof's lifespan and prevent future issues. We applied a high-quality coating designed to add an additional 15 years of service life to the existing structure. Our solution was not only targeted at immediate repairs but also aimed to align with warranty requirements and the client's budget.Scope of Work
The scope of this project involved a comprehensive assessment and restoration of the existing PVC membrane system. The original roof featured seams every five feet, secured by screws and plates. The Farha team reinforced the seams with a durable fabric, adding an extra layer of protection to prevent puncturing in the new coating, as well as strengthening the parapet walls with additional fabric to effectively encapsulate the entire roofing system.Challenge
A challenge we faced was the tight timeline for project completion, as the college had a fixed return date for students. Although this timeline would typically have been manageable, the additional preparatory work on the seams made it more complicated. To ensure we met the deadline, our team committed to working diligently every day until the project was completed.Testimonial
"We worked with Farha Roofing on our most recent roof restoration project and it was a great experience from start to finish. Every step of the way, from the procurement process all the way through the punch walk, Sam diligently worked on helping us overcome any challenges. Farha Roofing had the skilled and knowledgeable labor to perform quality work on time and within budget. We look forward to working with Farha Roofing in the future on many of our other roofing projects across the district."
